Village People to mark 35th anniversary

The year 2012 marks the 35th anniversary of the legendary disco group Village People and the guys will celebrate their mega achievement with the launch of an exciting, new audience-interactive show that will begin its tour in Las Vegas, for two weeks only, beginning on November 9, at the Riviera Hotel's Starlite Theatre.

Village People, known for their mega hits YMCA, Macho Man, In the Navy, Go West and many others, will perform the hits that made them famous in Raw, Hot & Live, a musical party that salutes everything disco.

Performances will be at 7:30PM on November 9 ' 13 and November 16 ' 20.

A series of contests is being held in conjunction with Village People's Las Vegas performances. Members of the group will reward concert-goers in the following categories:

•Best Individual or Group Costumes
•Best Disco Outfit
•Oldest and Youngest Person in Attendance (All guests must be at least seven years of age to attend.)

Winners will receive one or more of the following prizes:
•Free tickets to a 2012 Village People concert
•A VIP meet-and-greet with Village People during their Las Vegas engagement
•An authentic Village People costume item or Village People merchandise
