Tiscali is pleased to announce an exclusive intimate performance from critically acclaimed We Are Scientists at its monthly Showcase on Thursday, 28 February 2008.
We Are Scientists make a welcome return to the Tiscali stage and will headline the February Showcase performing tracks from their eagerly anticipated follow up to "With Love and Squalor" which sold over 150,000 copies in the UK.
The night will also feature performances from Alphabeat and Royworld.
We are Scientists will release their second album, 'Brain Thrust Mastery', on 17 March 2008 on EMI. The Showcase performance is the last opportunity to catch the guys before they go on tour in April. www.wearescientists.com
Sharing the stage will be Danish pop outfit, Alphabeat whose set will include their British debut single "Fastastic 6" which was released on 26 November 2007 as well as their latest single "Fascination" which is currently being played on Radio 1 and Radio 2. The band's debut British album is due in the spring of this year.

Talking Heads influenced Royworld will open the evening's proceedings. Royworld's unconventional positivity coupled with their intensity and musicianship has made them one of the most distinct and disarmingly unique bands in a very long time. The band is already being championed by Jo Whiley and Dermot 'O Leary and their live following is growing rapidly, captivated by a sense of drama, and Rod Futrille's endearing awkwardness.
