Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse Tributes Planned For BRIT Awards

Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse will be honoured at tomorrow night's BRIT Awards (February 21).

Organisers of the awards have decided to plan tributes for both singers during the ceremony.

A source told The Metro: ‘Whitney and Amy are two of the biggest female stars in the history of music. Both have made their mark onstage at the Brits in the past,’ explained my backstage source.

‘Something would feel missing if both their legacies weren’t remembered at the show.’

The BRIT Awards will also feature performances on the night will include Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and Adele.

The Arctic Monkeys, Chase & Status, Coldplay, Elbow and Kasabian are all up for Best British Group.

Ed Sheeran, James Blake, James Morrison, Noel Gallagher, and Professor Green are all up for Best British Male.

The BRIT Awards 2012 will take place February 21 at London's O2 Arena.
