Wiz Khalifa announced he and Amber Rose are now man and wife.
The 25-year-old rapper and the 29-year-old model became engaged in March 2012 and they welcomed their first child together, son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, in February.
Last week the couple were spotted at a marriage licence kiosk in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
Wiz took to Twitter Monday afternoon to disclose that he and his longtime love have indeed taken their relationship to the next level.
"Me and Amber got married today. Weddings this fall. Thought I'd let yall know (sic)," he tweeted to his over one million followers.
Apparently the pair are delaying their nuptial ceremony with friends and family for a number of reasons.
Wiz spoke previously about Amber's desire to be in top shape when the wedding takes place.
"When you have the ceremony, that's when you can invite the family," Wiz explained to New York City radio station Hot 97. "She can fit into a dress and then like nieces, nephews. If we have a daughter one day, she might wanna give the dress to our daughter, but if she's pregnant then she can't do that."
There is another reason the pair have decided to postpone the party.
Amber wants to enjoy the bash while intoxicated according to her beau.
"She wants to get drunk," Wiz laughed.
Amber and Wiz, real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz, began dating in early 2011.
Before committing to Wiz, Amber was in a relationship with rapper Kanye West from 2008 to 2010.
Kanye recently welcomed his first child, daughter North West, with reality star Kim Kardashian. Previously Amber accused the rapper of cheating with Kim while the musician was her boyfriend.
