Wretch 32 duets with surprised festival goer

A festival goer trying his hand at Hip Hop Karaoke in The Channel Carling tent at V Festival, Hylands Park, Chelmsford got the surprise of his life when chart-topper Wretch 32 appeared by his side and helped Charley Purpz finish his 2013 Top 10 hit 'Blackout' on Saturday.

The crowd inside the packed out Channel Carling tent went wild at the surprise appearance, as Wretch went on to give a special performance of 'Blackout'.

"I thought my attempt at Blackout was pretty decent, but Wretch 32 obviously thought I needed helping out," said Charley Purpz. "It was amazing when he appeared next to me. The Hip Hop Karaoke DJ took the track back to the top and we got to rap it together. The crowd loved it, although I think it was more for him than me!"

The surprise appearance is all part of Channel Carling, where traditional pub entertainment was given a refreshing twist for festival goers throughout the weekend from Hip Hop Karaoke to music pub quizzes and top DJ's from the Heavenly Jukebox.
