Yoko Ono has praised the performance of John Lennon's 'Imagine' by The X Factor contestant Emmanuel Kelly.
At the imaginepeace.com website, Yoko wrote, 'Thank you, Emmanuel. You sang beautifully! Thank you. John would have been proud of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you', love Yoko.
Iraq born Emmanuel who has missing limbs because of chemical warfare in his home country. 'When I was found in Iraq in an orphanage I had no birth certificate, no passport, nothing'.
Emmanuel and his brother were found by nun's in a shoebox in a park in Iraq and taken to an orphanage. They were adopted by Australian Moira Kelly and moved to Australia.
Judge Ronan Keating said after the song ' don't think I've ever been moved as I was by that performance.'
Emmanuel has gone through to the next round.
