Not content with rumours of several big festival apperances this summer, Young Knives are thinking about starting up their own.
They've already been announced as headliners for London's Lovebox Weekender this July and told Xfm:
"We're doing quite a few more but we're not allowed to say officially yet. It looks likely that we're doing Glastonbury and Reading so fingers crossed that will work out."
But it was bassist Thomas 'The House Of Lords' Dartnall who had his own ideas:
"I want to start my own festival called 'Us-Stock", he laughed, "It's gonna have us headlining every year, and then just five or six of our mates to do covers of us for the rest of it. The merchandise will be just of our stuff, signed photos of us."
To which vocalist Henry Dartnall added:
"That's the problem with other festivals, they've got too many other bands sucking up our glory!"
Known for their energetic performances and donning the tweed-clad attire of country folk, a Young Knives fest in a random field might not be such a bad idea (Hoo-Raa, pass the pimms!).
