Zac Efron wants to star in West End show.
The 'High School Musical' star is ready to move away from the musical roles which have catapulted him to fame and try something different in London's famous theatre district.
Speaking at the premiere of his new film 'Me and Orson Welles' in London's Leicester Square last night (18.11.09), he told BANG Showbiz: "I would love to if I could find the right opportunity, I think it's a matter of time to be honest but I don't know, I just want to make a break, so it's harder to be very specific."
In coming-of-age-drama 'Me and Orson Welles', Zac plays a teenage student who, by luck, gets to work with a young Orson Welles - the acclaimed American writer and director, who is played by Hollywood newcomer Christian McKay in the movie.
Zac - who spent time meeting his dedicated fans while walking the red carpet yesterday evening - revealed he gave Christian acting advice on set.
He said: "He had like small questions here and there. But he is a quick student that guy, in a matter of weeks he had completely transformed, he just fully immersed himself in a way that I can't even do."
