One Direction's Zayn Malik has reportedly begged his girlfriend to move in with him.
The heartthrob was recently accused of cheating on Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards with Australian waitress Courtney Webb. Since the allegations, Zayn has gone out of his way to show how much he cares about Perrie, with rumours rife he was even prepared to leave One Direction for his girlfriend.
Now it has been claimed that Zayn has asked Perrie to move into his £2.2 million London home.
"Zayn wants to show Perrie he's ready to be a 'proper couple'. It's as if the possibility of losing her jolted him into suggesting a bigger commitment. Perrie was taken aback and isn't sure what she wants," a source told British magazine Closer.
Perrie is believed to be seriously considering Zayn's offer of setting up home together. The 20-year-old singer wants to make the romance work and he has promised Perrie she can give the property a full makeover if she agrees to move in.
"She'd wanted to take the next step for ages, but now she feels she's still getting to grips with the situation. She's still terrified that other girls could come forward with allegations. Zayn is trying to convince her that moving in will alleviate her hears and says she can put her stamp on the home," the source added.
"It's like he's on a mission to make her happy. He's booked off a week in March to whisk her away to an island – he's pulling out all the stops. He said moving in together is the biggest step they can take short of getting engaged. He wants to prove he's serious."
