One-Eyed Doll

One-Eyed Doll is a nationally touring, award-winning rock and roll power trio led by the iconic Austin, TX wild child guitarist Kimberly Freeman and backed by Bassist PJ Evans: AKA "NUMBER THREE" and drummer Jason Rufuss Sewell: AKA "JUNIOR". Previously a career movie actor, Three joined shortly after the production of the January 2007 release, "Hole". Sewell has been with the band in the studio since 2006 as Kimberly's career-long record producer and joined as drummer in late 2009 to complete the trio. From 2007 to 2008 with the release of the debut album, "Hole," Freeman's small cult following exploded into a global fan base, setting a new standard for the modern independent guerrilla DIY business structure. One-Eyed Doll released "Monster" in November 2008, once again under the precise hand of veteran producer [and now drummer] Jason Rufuss Sewell. The new album debuts, to the triumph of their inherently eccentric and diverse following, the group's signature dark, heavy hits, "Fight" and "Monster", blending seamlessly with radio pop style ballads like "Brief Candle" and "Pretty Song". The 2010 album, "Break" is the first three-piece One-Eyed Doll release. Kimberly's intense songwriting is the feature of this collection, well-highlighted by Jason Rufuss Sewell's heavy beats and Number Three's dynamic bass. Laden with murder ballads, theatrical peaks, dynamic lows, this album has been, by far, the most popular to date amongst the growing global fan community.
