Open Skyz formerly know as Valentine are from Long Island,New York they play AOR, and now make up the basis of Evolution...a Journey cover band from Long Island , New York Hugo - vocals Adam Holland - guitar Craig Pullman - keyboards Gerard Zappa - bass Neil Christopher - drums They've recorded only one album.The industry felt that was enough . Didn't ask them to change the bands name again...Just leave . It's self titled and was released in 1990 .Unlike its previous self-titled album as Valentine.Both with Microsoft Clip-Art like graphics . The album was one of many produced by producer Ritchie Zito that flopped in the early 90's . Just ask Vince Neil ,The Cult ,Cheap Trick,MR. BIG or Poison's ..Nail in the Coffin " Stand" album..all Ritchie Zito classics . The music industry hasn't heard anything from Zito or Valentine/Open Skyz since . Neil Christopher the drummer having marital problems left after the recording of the album in Reseda ,CA at Rumbo Recorders . Open Skyz opened for KISS & Mr. Big as well as well as a PathMark grocery store Grand Opening in Lodi , NJ courtesy of their tour manager Todd(T-Boy)Confessore . You may remember Todd from his gang vocals or his T-Boy rap on the DANGER DANGER classic album Monkey Business .Todd is the only member involved with the Valentine/Open Skyz camp that continues to work professionally in the music business .
