The Philly natives have opened for indie powerhouse MGMT, landed several showcases in New York City, a residency at the renowned Arlene’s Grocery, and a great showcase at SXSW in Austin, TX, in the single year they’ve been together. They have made their mark in Philadelphia, entertaining large crowds at the North Star Bar, Doc Watson’s, The Khyber, and more, and plan to make their debut on the Trocadero Main stage in August. Their heavy Rock and Roll sound is influenced by bands such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, but ultimately boils down to their deep love for the blues. Dan, the youngest of the three, fronts the band with vocals, powerful guitar melodies and wild solos, as well as some keys here and there. He throws himself into every note making it impossible not to get sucked into the experience with him. Pat, on bass, and Tom, on drums, make up a powerhouse of a rhythm section contributing to the huge sound Penrose creates, which seems almost impossible coming out of a three piece.
