Pete Krason Biography
Sitar melodies and “Theramax” keyboard patches riddled Krason’s first major album success in “I Wear The Night” {released early 2006}. Still, the 20-year-old, budding singer/songwriter/etc/etc/and whatever continues to produce charm and cunning tracks from his basement studio dubbed, “Crappy Computer Productions.” He’s Chicago’s alternative pop-rock artist. The music flows with melodic guitar/sitar melodies, theremax tones, ambient delay guitar and piano soundscapes, and weaves in and out of musical styles while maintaining a cohesive unit. It's a throwback to the sounds of U2 and the Beatles while still incorporating the more modern tone of the Killers and Strokes. Pete composes with the lyrical touch of Lennon and Elliott Smith while experimenting with genres and the musical status quo. But don’t take my word for it… Give it a listen.
