Philip Lynott

Philip Parris "Phil" Lynott (pronounced /ˈlaɪnɒt/; 20 August 1949 – 4 January 1986) was an Irish musician who who first came to prominence as a founding member, principal songwriter, and frontman of the critically acclaimed Irish rock band Thin Lizzy. He also released two solo-albums: * Solo in Soho (1980) * The Philip Lynott Album (1982) The two albums are much more pop-oriented than the sounds of Thin Lizzy, but also feature appearences from the members of Thin Lizzy, prominentley Brian Downey on drums.
