Pimp Switch Sequence

Our band started in the year of 2005 in Thessaloniki, Greece as an international high-school band. The initial line-up was Vas Valtchanov (guitar) Sinan Imre (drums) and Joel Lewander (bass/guitar). The band was first named “Way Out”. In 2006 Joel left and we wrote our first songs “Intro” (which has been remade in our album-“Virus”) and “The Thought” where Sinan did the vocal part. Later that year we recorded “Hemispheres”, which became our biggest success at the time (“Hemispehres” was later released by QuickStar Productions, in a compilation CD “Rock 4 Life”. The CD is out in 1000 copies and the song is in more than 300 digital stores.) In 2007 we had some concerts and had Natalia Kappos join us as a singer. In 2008 we recorded a new song “Don’t Forget”. We also had a few gigs in Thessaloniki. During the summer of 2009 Pimp Switch Sequence played their first tour of the Balkans, playing in Sofia, Bulgaria and Thessaloniki, Greece. Where the line up was- Natalia, Vas, Sinan and a known session bassist Esat Ekincioğlu, who was asked to join the band in the summer of 2009. In the process of writing the new album PSS parted with two of its members due to many reasons. Again Sinan and Vas stayed and added Sandra Petrova-vocals and Atanas Atanasov on bass. We did a summer tour of the Balkans again, but this time a bit bigger we were to play 7 venues around, Greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria. Unfortunately our bassist had problems with the band and left us in the middle of the tour. Unfortunately we only played in 5 venues, but all the concerts were great. After this we went back to our album to re-edit the mastering and mix. And on 24th of September 2010 the album Virus was finally finished. In 2011 PSS played a summer tour around the balkans again which was a bigger success than the previous year. Now working on a new album and ready for the new summer tour, PSS keeps on rolling.
