Pink Ties are Bloody

A band consisting of 4 young guys from Vienna/Austria who are only between 15 & 16 years old. The Genre is a mix of Rock/Pop/Acoustic/Punk and is hardly confusable. (as fans say) Pink Ties are Bloody started in January 2009 and was founded by the three "Frontmen". At its foundation the band was nameless but it finally got its name by a bloody accident with blood on pink ties. So... Pink Ties are Bloody... Who are these guys? Nik - Vocals/ Guitar Chris - Bass / Vocals Markus - Guitar/ Vocals Roman - Drums So that's the line-up which is still holding on. Roman bumped into after the band was founded but he was in long before their very first live performance which was an acoustic performance. It was May, 5th 2009 when they were playing at the so called "Acoustic Club". The typical Pink Ties are Bloody songs, "Fly Away" and "I'll be There" were performed for the first time. Shortly after Pink Ties are Bloody rocked at their first Bandcontest which was the Austrian Band Contest. It was on the 23rd of August 2009 when they rocked the stage and finally came to the next round. In September 2009 Pink Ties are Bloody took part in an european wide competition which was called "Music against poverty". It's the most important happening until now. The Pink Ties played theirselves among the Top 12 with their song "I Give Myself". They were distinguished with a huge certificate. An important note: there were about 250 bands which took part in this competition from about 25 different countries. (!!!) In October 2009 the band recorded its first EP which is called "Remember the Time". The EP presents 5 Pink Ties are Bloody songs, it was pressed a thousand times and it is out now! The Songs will be on Itunes too soon and some entire EPs will be sold into the wide world through amazon.com. On November, 12th 2009 they played at the so called "Re-opening" of the music-school at Stockholmerplatz, 10th district of Vienna. After the gig they've set up a great connection to Franz Jerabek who organized two gigs for the Pink Ties with the ex-starmaniac (casting show) and dancing star (dancing show) Vincent Bueno. Franz Jerabek (something like: secretary of the 10th district - no actual translation): "Wow Guys! I like how you are doing that, I'll see what I can do for you. It's right what they say: The answer to Tokio Hotel!" The Pink Ties also set up an awesome connection to Harald Hanisch who once used to be the producer of the Austrian Star Christina Stürmer. He kind of supports the band in things like songwriting. Here's a quotation from him after he was at a Pink Ties are Bloody concert: "Thank you guys for the invitation to this awesome concert! There were some good songs among, keep doing that and I will give you the chance to seek some musical advice from me for your next EP. And I find it quite good that you will take singing lessons! So far.. Thanks again.. and: we'll see again!" On the 12th of December 2009 Pink Ties are Bloody came to the next round of the Emergenza Bandcontest which is going on on the 2nd of May 2010. So right now the band is working on important things like CD sales, new singles, videos (maybe on some music videos soon!), on a new EP for the summer of 2010, concerts and of course on internet-stuff. It's beginning, some do already know us, we do have Fans behind us who kind of support us. We take every chance to play live, in front of people, even as supports for other bands.
