Ponocni Kauboj

Rock band “Midnight Cowboy”, who is established in 1987, started the career with live performances in Novi Sad. Soon entering the studio “Ambient 94” where recorded the three songs, among which are distinguished by the quality the song "Moon", which came in the first place of the demo charts show “Rhythm of the Heart” of Radio Belgrade. In May 1988, the band entered the studio again, this time in Studio Radio Novi Sad, where with the help of Ivica Vlatkovic and sound engineer Jan Sas recorded songs „Step by Step“, and "I slowly disappearing". The song "Step by Step" became a hit on Radio Belgrade 202, where reaches the top of the list. The greatest success is achieved on the Studio B, in which is „Step by Step“ ranked in the first place, while the same song take tenth place on the annual list. Then the band appears in the popular TV show “Hit of the Month” of RTV Belgrade. At the beginning of 1989, the band recorded the seven compositions in the studio, while later that year playing at the Youth Festival in ..Subotica.., following by numerous concerts in Novi Sad and Belgrade. Midnight Cowboy is disbanded in June 1990. In September 2008, Midnight Cowboy is back together again and started working on new songs. The band was recorded twelve songs in Studio Radio Novi Sad, in April and May of 2009. Material includes four new and eight of old compositions, of which four were rearranged. Although the songs were created over a long period of time and under different musical influences, recorded material sounds stylistically evenly. Twenty-two years since its founding, the band has remained faithful to the original rock and guitar sound. A special contribution gave a music producer Dusan Ševarlić, who is faithfully conveyed the atmosphere and the distinctive sound of the band which makes it recognizable.Their new release "Hotel For Dogs" is due in summer 2010.
