Prostitutes Biography
Prostitutes (USA) Prostitutes is the alias used by James Donadio of Cleveland, United States, for his murky, physically affective explorations of post-Techno and synth noise. Prostitutes (ITA) Post-Punk/New Wave band from Torino (Piemonte, North Italy). The band was founded at the end of the 70’s around the figures of Augusto Panebarco (voice and guitar), Giorgio Pulini (bass) and Claudio Lamancusa (drums). They released some demo tapes and some partecipations to important compilations of the label/radiophonic program Tracce - Radio Torino Popolare. Tommy de Chirico for a period was the guitarist of the band, the same musician/singer of the band Politburo (another band from Torino). The sound of the band is a mix of post-punk and experimental new wave influences.
