Pulsediver

Pulsediver (Amsterdam, 2006), is the bastard child produced by the unlawful marriage of Stoner-rock and Indie-pop. A female singer sustains 3 gentlemen with only one goal: to take complete advantage of their kindness (and solid musicality) in order to exalt, unmistakingly, her reign as the Queen of Cups personified. Mariska’s vocal prowess will not go unnoticed. Inspired by the likes of Pixies, quotsa , Melissa Auf der Mauer, and of course Ledzabbath this combo can’t stop creating hard steaming pulsations amongst precious little surprising songs donned in the kind precociousness that keeps you asking “how?” and wanting more regardless. Keeps both eyes (ears) open ‘cause this Dutch band has arrived. At this moment there’s a demo containing several songs. Bij het oprichten van de band eind 2005 wist Pulsediver ( Amsterdam) al precies wat zij wilden: muziek maken waar zij zelf de hele dag naar kunnen luisteren. Daar de ervaren 4 bandleden allen een voorliefde hebben voor stevig gitaarwerk, scheef groovende drums, en een ronkend basgeluid, ontstond er een mix van indie-alternative met een vleugje stonerrock. Dat menig hart hier sneller van ging kloppen, bleek uit de inmiddels honderden positieve reacties op websites als My space, Hyves, en uiteraard ook hun eigen officiele website: (www.pulsediver.nl) Begin maart is de release van de debuut cd, en Pulsediver begint het eens te worden met de fans: Dit mag niet binnen 4 muren blijven! Met gebruik van niet alledaagse instrumenten in de rockmuziek als theremin (ook live ) en hammond (in de studio) ziet Pulsediver optreden als een uitdaging, en hoopt dan ook menig podia te kunnen betreden om aldaar stomend, hard, pulserend en stuwend de nummers ten gehore te brengen!
