Richard Cocciante Biography
Riccardo Cocciante (Saigon, 20 February 1946) is an Italian singer and songwriter. Born in Vietnam by Italian father and French mother, eleven years to emigrate with his family to Rome. It was in Italy that is formed, artistically speaking, but always maintain, thanks to his mother, a sort of "double identity" Italo-French. Beyond that Italy has long lived in America and France, most recently in Ireland. He sang career in four languages (Italian, French and Spanish, English). His great and unforgettable successes are "Bella without a soul", "Poetry", "Margaret", "A new friend", "cycling". Not to overlook the magnificent "When love ends", "You can call me by my name" and "everything was already planned, with the strength that release warm the soul. He won the Festival of San Remo in 1991 with If we are together. It is also known for having composed works popular Notre Dame de Paris, Le Petit Prince and Romeo & Juliet. He duettato with Mina ( "A matter of feeling," 1987 - "Love", 1994) and Mietta ( "Your skin, 1994 -" And to think that I thought I at least think a little ", 1994).
