Rick Vito Biography
Rick Vito (born on 13 October 1949, in Darby, Pennsylvania) is a guitarist and singer-songwriter. He was part of the band Fleetwood Mac between 1987 and 1991, performing with the band on three tours and recording the1990 album Behind the Mask with them. Since leaving the band in 1991, he has released seven solo albums which feature a heavier blues feel, including his debut solo album King of Hearts in 1992, Pink & Black in 1998, Lucky Devils in 2000, and more recently Talk That Talk in 2006. In 2008 he reunited with former bandmate Mick Fleetwood to make the blues-inspired album Blue Again which saw Vito and Fleetwood's band re-interpreting early Mac classics such as Stop Messin' Around, Rattlesnake Shake, Black Magic Woman and Albatross.
