Rie Sinclair

Rie Sinclair is a Los Angeles based recording artist and song-writer/lyricist, who grew up in St. Paul, MN with a new album "A Moment You Never Dreamed" (New music video on YouTube. PR by Train And Penny -UK). Rie has been writing & producing music for TV since 2004. She was nominated for an Emmy for the song, "Where You Are" (co-written with producer/guitarist Bob Hartry) which came out on the album, "On The 5th Floor" in Dec. 2007. Rie began writing for ABC/Disney in 2004 and launched her own label, I Miss You Records, a few years after. Numerous placements & over 100 songs produced for the network, have allowed a graceful span of eclectic range for this chameleon-like composer. Not only was she the voice of SOAPnet’s first original series, “General Hospital: Night Shift”, but has attracted daytime fans with several songs becoming mini-theme’s within the show. Her latest being Kyle & Oliver's love song, My Confession, on One Life To Life. Prior to the full-length album of "On The 5th Floor" (a series of tunes written for TV), her first EP, "Glow” appeared in 2006, much more along the artists eclectic tones: dark but vulnerable with a twist of pop. 6 months later on Valentine's Day, 3 bittersweet love songs under the collection title, "Falling In Love" hit iTunes. Several other songs written for ABC/Disney have also been made available as singles. As a songwriter, she has written with many upcoming artists, producers, & writers. One of her current collaborations, Oliver The Penguin, with Tommy Walter (Abandoned Pools/Eels) is under new management with Art Of Broadcast. Rie & Tommy also collaborated to write the theme title for 2010's MTV series Blonde Charity Mafia (also available on iTunes). She has also been working on an Electronica CD with several mixers/producers, and starting a new side project with Jimmy Young.
