She was released with Len Kagamine as the second in Crypton Future Media's character voice series, being given the code 'CV02'. She was preceded by CV01 Miku Hatsune, and followed by CV03 Luka Megurine. Her and Len's last name means 'mirror sound' and their first names are a pun on right (Rin) and left (Len).
