Senario

Senario is a popular comedian group from Malaysia. It was formed in 1996 combining seven contestants from Sinaran Pasport Kegemilangan TV3. Early members were: Wahid, Lan Pet Pet, Azlee Jaafar, Farouk Hussein, Shamsul Ghau Ghau, Ilya, and Hamdan. The name was invented by Farouk, as they have been calling themselves "senang riuh" (pretty frenetic) thus changed into Senario. They made their debut tv show for the sitcom "Senario" on June, 1996 which was undoubtedly a success show attracting many audience and fans of all ages. Later, Farouk, and Shamsul left the group. Ilya and Hamdan stayed for a while but then decided to leave as well. Seeing the success of the sitcom, films were made; Senario the Movie, Senario Lagi and Lagi-Lagi Senario were also big hits in Malaysia's film industry when they reach box office. Saiful Apek and Yasin joined them making a group of five once again. Their involvement had made them more sensational in Malaysia. Both of them however left the group after that. Aside from acting and entertaining, they had also producing albums - a music with good messages and advice. It had also humor as they were using slang languages. Some of the popular songs included: Cari Tapak, Sebelum dan Sesudah and Cepat Kaya. Since this article was written (2012), there are three members present in the group: Azlee, Wahid and Lan.
