Shock

Shock was a part of the early L.A. punk scene along with bands like Dickies, Weirdos, Black Flag, X, and many others. SHOCK may also refer to an experimental New Wave music, dance and mime troup based in the UK who recorded a series of singles in the early 1980s. (See alternate entry SHOCK (UK)) Two prominent members of this SHOCK (Tim Dry and Sean Crawford) went on to be known as the New Wave duo TIK & TOK and even appeared in the film Return of the Jedi. Another prominent member of this SHOCK was the Canadian-born Barbie Wilde, who is best known outside of music as portraying Female Cenobyte in several Hellraiser films. She's also made several music recordings and has appeared in many more music videos in the 1980s, often for other musicians.
