SNSD Real Name: Girls' Generation Date of Birth: 5/8/2 - Country: South Korea Company Representative: SM Entertainment So Nyuh Shi Dae or So Nyeo Shi Dae (Korean: 소녀 시대, 少女 时代, English name: Girls' Generation; Japanese name: Shoujo Jidai, 少女 时代, meaning "Girl Time") is a group Korean female nine-member group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. The members include (in order of age): Taeyeon (the leader), Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. So Nyuh Shi Dae also known by the name of SNSD, which stands for the initials of the syllables of the name of the group in order to transfer Korean Latin (So Nyuh Shi Dae). August 5, 2007 is considered the official launch of the group. The group has released two albums and several singles, all with great success. Singles released in 2009 Gee's team holds the record for most times ranked in KBS Music Bank up to nine weeks. [1] The group members all have diverse activities in the Korean entertainment industry, they participate in dramas, musicals, the reality television program, leading program planning and implementation of sound own music.
