Strike

Strike is a Pop Punk band from Brazil that was born in 2003, in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. In 2007, they received a contract from Globo to play the theme song of the teen novel, Malhação, in October. There is a lot of bands named Strike around the world, but this is the only one in Brazil. Strike is also a British dance band formed in 1994 consisting of Matt Cantor, Andy Gardner and the vocalist Victoria Newton. They released a number of tracks, but are best known for the single 'U Sure Do'. This was released in 1994 and only reached #31 in the UK charts, but re-entered the chart in April 1995 and reached #4.
