The Breakup

Part of the band's current (and future) success can be attributed to its independent spirit and relentless work ethic. Launched by Melissa Koziel (drums), Francis Rabe (bass), George Pepe (keyboards), Matt Field (guitar) and Kristina Oquist (vocals), the Orange County act has already compiled an attractive list of accomplishments under its collective belt. Without a proper release, management or record label support, The Breakup has already scored radio play on influential Los Angeles-based radio station KROQ, performed at the Vans Warped Tour and even had its songs placed on MTV programs.
