The Ettes

The Ettes is a name of at least two bands: 1) A Nashville, TN via Los Angeles, CA garage rock band. 2) An Edinburgh, Scotland all-girl punk rock trio. 1) A Nashville, TN via, Los Angeles, garage rock band (formed 2004), influenced by early punk, beat bands & country music. The band consists of Lindsay “Coco” Hames, Maria “Poni” Silver, Jeremy “Jem” Cohen and Johnny "Shoulders" Cauffiel. They have released four albums to date, "Shake the Dust" in 2006, "Look At Life Again Soon" in 2008, "Do You Want Power?" in 2009, and "Wicked Will" in 2011. 2) A three-piece all-girl punk band from Edinburgh, Scotland, formed in April 1979. They played eleven gigs, supporting Another Pretty Face, The Visitors, Shake and The Exploited, and also recorded a five track demo for Fast Product. They played their final gig on 22nd September 1979.
