The Polaroid People

THE POLAROID PEOPLE: Joe Knott- vocals, guitar Jordan Dunster- drums Matt Lewis- guitar Grug - bass, vocals Since the formation of the band in March, 2008, the young boys Joe, Jordan, Grug and Matt from The Polaroid People, have already had a small taste of success particularly on the internet. Their catchy and unique pop/rock music has notched up over 400 000 plays on MySpace and at the ages of 15, landed them a support slot with one of Australia’s biggest bands – Short Stack. The band is only in the early stages and have not yet released an album or EP, but it’s their commitment to their MySpace, talking to fans and promoting themselves online that is earning them a growing fan base all around Australia. 2009 looks to be a big year for The Polaroid People, as they concentrate on writing songs for a debut album, and continue to perform to large crowds across Sydney. You can catch TPP when they open the Sydney show for Short Stack’s Sway Sway Baby Tour at the Metro Theatre, this July.
