Punk rock may be dead, but pop-punk is still kicking with much vigor. And for this reason The Varsity lives! The Varsity demonstrates early potential of future stardom. Already a hot item... it wont be long until this band from North Carolina graces the airwaves with its magnificence. 2006 has proven to be a solid year for the band! The band won a spot on the 2006 Warped tour date (in their home state) for the Ernie ball stage. They have also toured nationally on their own and recorded one of the most influential demo's of the year! After touring with bands such as: Taking Back Sunday, Atreyu, Funeral for a Friend, Stretch Armstrong, Hopesfall, Glasseater, The Snake The Cross The Crown, November Kills, Esme, Orion, Every Avenue, etc.....THE VARSITY is on the brink of something big......very big!!!
