The Webb Sisters Biography
Charley and Hattie Webb are two beautiful and talented writer/artist/sisters from the UK. Hattie plays a small acoustic/electric harp that she straps on accordion style and Charley plays the guitar. They sing their own songs and some covers, often in close harmony. Having been born into a musical family, they have been singing and playing together since childhood. They lived in America for some time before moving back to England. They have recorded one full length album, "Daylight Crossing", which was produced by Steve Lipson and Youth. The album features a roster of very well-respected musicians, such as Steve Gadd, Pino Palladino, Jon Willis and their brothers Brad Webb and Rocco Rands-Webb The album includes collaborations with writers such as Mike Elizondo (Eminem/Fiona Apple/Eric Clapton), Jeff Trott (Sheryl Crow, Aimee Mann, Mia), Bridget Benenate and Matthew Gerrard (Delta Goodrem, Kelly Clarkson) among others. They spent much of 2008 on tour with Leonard Cohen, as a vital part of his backing band, and produced what for many was the best moment of the show with their version of his song "If it be your will." In 2008/2009, they released an EP, "Comes in Twos" featuring the Leonard Cohen song. In December 2009 they released the EP "The Other Side". They are reported to be working on an album to be produced by Peter Asher in 2009.
