Tuesday Vargas

Tuesday Vargas is a Filipino singer, actress and comedian. A graduate of U.P. College of Mass Communications in Diliman, she was a consistent power act in the annual “LIVE A.I.D.S.” Then followed sing-along bar hostings and stand-up comedy acts in such notoriously popular joints as Ratsky’s Malate, Klownz, Comfort Room, Giggles, Jefz, AdLib and Zirkoh to name a few. Of course, it didn’t take long before Tuesday caught the ever-watchful eyes and ears of television’s bigwigs and was thus launched on the boob tube. She's also the lead vocals for the dance-punk band Top Junk, which is different music altogether from the music she became famous for. In this band however, she is known by her real name, Marizel Sarangelo, or simply Izel.
