Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps is a BBC sitcom written by Susan Nickson and starring Will Mellor, Natalie Casey, Sheridan Smith, Kathryn Drysdale and Ralf Little. Seven series aired between 2001 and 2008. The title of the series is a reference to the 1980 single by splodgenessabounds, "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please". The song is never used in the show. The actual title tune, called "A Pint of Lager", is by Christian Henson. In 2003, a musical special "When Janet Met Jonny" was aired, featuring ten original songs performed by the cast and produced in mock music-video style.
