Up and coming band Unarmed For Victory, hailing from hot-weathered Miami, Florida is a unit unlike others. The band aliased by their fans as "Unarmed" and "UFV" brings a diverse sound to fans of the Post-Hardcore/Progressive genres. Their debut EP Of The Royal And Strange was self-released in May 2010, and on September 14, 2010 was released to the online world through stores such as iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, 7Digital, etc. The group believes that the song material they had scripted before paved a path for them into what and who they are today, bringing forth a much more dynamic sound and style. Every member of the band is influenced by different styles of music and each member carries that into the mix. This contributes to their unique style of music. Unarmed For Victory has opened for the likes of Sky Eats Airplane, Emarosa, Memphis May Fire, The Gun Show, I Set My Friends On Fire, and Common Yet Forbidden, amongst others. They are also no strangers to the stage, having played many venues all over South Florida. The excitement (and venues) don't end there though.
