Vanna Bonta Biography
Vanna Bonta is a poet who plays piano. Her life sounds like a legend, breaking and sparking hearts and modeling for great artists (Pietro Annigoni, Frederick Hart). As an artist she's mutli-talented, working as an actor, writer, dancer, and model. The only mainstream she is noted for is cameo appearances such as the hero's young queen mother in the fantasy always-on-HBO classic feature film "The Beastmaster," and decades of blockbuster movie voice work. After leaving home for Hollywood in the 80s, she immediately won movie roles and performed in MTV videos of artists such as UK Jack Green and War. It was a disappointment to fans who wanted more of her physical beauty when Vanna (rhymes with Nirvana) wouldn't hop on the pop pimpin starlet bandwagon but it turns out to be more than stream but an ocean fans love (still lookin for pics tho). This artist's love of acting and film arts continued behind the camera as voice talent, and she can be heard on scads of feature films and television spanning 80s, 90s, and 00s but only makes appearances for causes she supports. She's won 4 Billboard awards for songwriting but didn't commercially release her songs except to include them in books or videos for causes that inspire her like "What Goes Up" (with Martin St. Pierre) her tribute to aviation and creativity. Meanwhile in the sanctuary far from formula-hatching execs, the best from this work-driven artist is brewing. In 2008 Vanna narrated her novel Flight (a quantum fiction novel, first published hardcover in 1996) and did her own piano playing in the 2008 audiobook (original song "Home Is You"). Audiogeist reviewed her voice as "entrancing" and the novel coined a genre. There's a MySpace site on this artist but seems to be run by handlers. http://www.myspace.com/vannabonta
