There have been a number of artists going by the name of Washington: (1) A singer-songwriter from Australia (2) A indie pop band from Norway Washington (1) The name of the Australian (mostly one-woman) band fronted by singer-songwriter Megan Washington. www.myspace.com/meganwashington Washington (2) A band which consists of singer/songwriter and guitarist Rune Simonsen, drummer Esko Pedersen and bassplayer Andreas Hoyer, hailing from the dark northern regions of Norway. Their music can be referred to as Saybia or Coldplay-like, with melancholic and melodic guitars and piano's, but they're not afraid to experiment on occasions.
