Wine From Tears is a Melodic Doom / Death Metal Band From Russia. WFT combines many effects in their music, so with their sad melodies you will feel something different. Wine From Tears' style can be described as a mix of Saturnus, My Dying Bride, Katatonia and Swallow The Sun. Since formation, one full-length album "Through The Eyes Of A Mad" was released in 2009. Current Line Up: Alexei (vocal guitar) Alexander (guitar) Maria (keys) Elena (bass) Igor (drums) . Biography : Wine From Tears formed in September 2002. Later, Dmitry Points (keyboards) joined the band and established the group after the intervention on 13th of December, 2003 in "Mannhattan" club at the concert dedicated to Chuck Schuldiner (Death frontman). In January 2004, band completely changed the rhythm section, bass player was now Oksana Poudanina, and Igor Andreev became a new drummer. Long time band played without a vocalist, and after a range of options they invited Alexander Juras. In April 2004, the keyboardist left the band. His seat was later occupied by Olga Chekmarevoy. In summer, it was decided to part with bass player, Oksana. After a long search, it was decided to take the former bassist from Wine From Tears - Andrew Meunargiya. But after some time he parted and Elena Firsova replaced him. After 2 months, the keybordist left the band, but in the end once again was replaced by Dmitry Points. In spring 2008, Alexei Nesterov, in addition to the guitar, takes the role of the vocalist.
