Ysabella Brave

Ysabella Brave (born December 4, 1979 as MaryAnne Ysabella) is an American vocalist signed by Cordless Recordings, a division of the Warner Music Group. She was discovered through the popularity of her YouTube channels, ysabellabrave and ysabellabravetalk. Ysabella Brave posted the first videos of herself singing on YouTube on July 14, 2006. Most of her songs are accompanied by prerecorded music tracks, but some are a cappella. Her singing genres include blues, jazz, the Great American Songbook, rock, soul, R&B, and pop music, amongst others, as well as some of her own original lyrics and music. After over a year of regularly posting videos, Ysabella Brave has built up a large following on YouTube. Her ysabellabrave channel has 31,901 subscribers, making it the 45th most subscribed YouTube channel of all time and the 21st most subscribed of all time as a YouTube Director. Her ysabellabravetalk channel has over 11,713 subscribers. She continues to be a prolific provider of content on YouTube and between her two channels has 158 videos. (Subscriber stats as of February 9, 2008). Ysabella Brave's videos have been viewed 9,338,637 times, as of September 26, 2007. Ysabella Brave's second YouTube channel, ysabellabravetalk, was created to separate her music and comedy videos from those in which she expresses personal opinions on subjects raised by her viewers, and her vlogs. The first video on her talk channel was posted on March 4, 2007. Ysabella Brave's popularity took a notable step outside of the confines of YouTube when she was signed as a recording artist for Cordless Recordings, an elabel of the Warner Music Group. She has been written about in the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The San Diego Daily Transcript, and blogs.
