Chavela Vargas Biography
Chavela Vargas is a Mexican Revolutionary and singer, She was born in Costa Rica but never lived there. She dressed as a man, smoked Cuban Cigars, drank heavily, carried a gun. in her autobiography "Y si quieres saber de mi pasado" she openly admitted she was a lesbian. Vargas herself, as a young woman, allegedly had an affair with Frida Kahlo.
