Danny Ja Armi

Danny (Ilkka Lipsanen) and Armi (Armi Aavikko) were a Finnish duet who had several hits in their home country during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Danny had been a popular singer in Finland since the early 1960s, with multiple hit singles and Armi was miss Finland in 1977. The two paired up in 1977 and had a series of hits together while each also pursued solo careers. Armi died in 2002 of penumonia.
