Dax Johnson

Dax Johnson, solo pianist/composer and inventor, has been wowing audiences in the solo piano world for the last 10 years. He has sold thousands of records and developed a devout following throughout the western United States. He is known as a neo classical composer, inventor, and performer. Now embarking on a new journey, Dax Johnson is turning his attention to another musical arena- that of a singer- songwriter. In the early 90's, Dax took his music to the streets - literally. Rolling his piano out of the back of his van and setting up shop on the street corners of Spokane, Washington, Dax established his own venue to share his music with a wide audience, and made his living on tips alone. The street musician was eventually invited to make appearances at bookstores and coffee houses, leading to concert performances in many areas of the Western states, and the release of two solo piano CDs.
