Desi Arnaz Biography
Desi Arnaz began his career as a professional musician in 1936, playing guitar and percussion for a Latin orchestra. In 1939, he starred on Broadway in the successful musical Too Many Girls, and appeared in the 1940 movie version, with Lucille Ball. Arnaz married Ball in 1940 and co-starred with her in the wildly popular CBS television series "I Love Lucy" from 1951 to 1957.
