Le Jeu des sept Erreurs, Elodie's second album was released in September 2006 where she changed her style dramatically. Instead of singing some "bubble songs", she offered more maturity in her writing and her voice with the help of Benjamin Biolay who produced this opus. With talent and success. Both the album and its first single (La ceinture) received massive positive critics from the french media. Elodie Frégé is the third winner of Star Academy (a huge popular TV-Show in France) in 2003. She released one album the same year leaded by a first single De l'eau. Both received a mixed appreciation but failed to be as successful as the two previous winners had (Jenifer and Nolwenn Leroy). Her second single, Viens jusqu'à moi, a duet with the 2003 finalist of Star Academy (Michal) was a big success and went to the french top 10 for some weeks.
