Evdokia Kadi Biography
Evdokia Kadi (Ευδοκία Καδή) born 1981 in Nicosia, Cyprus is a Greek Cypriot singer who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, with the song "Femme Fatale". She was eliminated in the second semi-final on May 22 and therefore did not make it to the final. Evdokia Kadi was chosen as the Cypriot representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. The song selection took place in the form of a national final organized by CyBC. "Femme Fatale" is a traditional Greek Laïkó song with a French title. Evdokia Kadi was born in Nicosia in 1981. She started singing in 2001, in a student café of the University of Cyprus. She took part in different concerts in Cyprus and abroad alongside several Greek and Cypriot singers and performers. She has been performing as a lead singer at various venues in Cyprus.In 2006 she joined the CyBC Folk Orchestra. She is currently preparing her first solo album. Evdokia won the Cypriot national selection by a narrow margin, and will take her charismatic performance of Femme Fatale to the Eurovision Song Contest stage in Belgrade.
