Franco Califano Biography
Franco Califano, the man a.k.a. Er Califfo, is one of Rome's and Italy's finest songwriters. Risen from the ashes of the traditional folk ensemble "I Trucidi di Centocelle", Califano makes today an inarguably delicate kind of music, drifting from his original popular background to a very high level of musical elegance. This style is commonly known in Italy as "coatto", meaning "lovely, nice and kind". Posh music for posh peeps.
