High School Musical Cast

High School Musical is a Disney Channel Original Movie starring Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman. Filled with song and dance, the movie tells the story of two polar opposites, Troy and Gabriella, who try out for the lead parts in their school musical. Despite some students' attempts to thwart their dreams, Troy and Gabriella persist and even manage to inspire others along the way. Release Date: January 20, 2006 A Sing-Along version aired on January 21, 2006 and a special 'Making Of' featurette aired on the January 22, 2006 screening.
