Invertigo Biography
Invertigo were an Australian four-piece pop/rock group active in the early 2000s. Its members were Christian Argenti as well as brothers Gerry Leigh ( Gerome William Leigh, James Leigh and Vince Leigh (the latter two of which were former members of Pseudo Echo). The three Leigh brothers, however, found vocalist Christian Argenti as their new lead singer and reformed with the slightly different name of Invertigo in 2000. The June 2000 single "Desensitised", which they performed on the variety show Russell Gilbert Live, signalled a return to the charts. 2001 saw the release of another single, "Chances Are", in February 2001, and soon after, their debut album Forum in July. Since their only album, the band's current whereabouts is unknown. Originally formed as Vertigo in 1996, they released the single "Forever Lately" in 1997 which became an Australian radio hit. The Vertigo lineup consisted of lead singer Hugh Wilson as well as the three Leigh brothers. Following the departure of their lead singer in 1999, Vertigo disbanded.
