Jack Summer Biography
*from myspace* I'm Jack Summer I was first given an acoustic guitar when I was nine years old. When I was fourteen I smashed that same acoustic guitar into pieces against the wall of my garage rehearsal space. Some might say the rest is history, but to me it's more than that. I played in a punk band called "Infected" for the majority of my teenage years and went through more experiences than I'd care to share at this point in my life. As I turned eighteen I began to invest my savings in audio recording equipment and built myself a makeshift studio in my room. I set myself away with the task of recording an album under the moniker "Jack Summer". I wrote songs that were honest and found that some people still vaue that. Whenever I go through a difficult time I remind myself of the records and artists that have made me who I am - "Hearts On Parade", "Letters", "The Streets", "The Ordinary Boys", "So Much For The Afterglow" and "Sanchogrey", to name a few. I started touring around a year ago and I've been doing that on/off since. I released a single with End Of The Trail Records recently and have my second album on it's way. I'm not going to be patronising by pretending I have a real indication of what the future might hold for me, but you're more than welcome to stick around and find out.
