Joie De Vivre

Comprised of former members of Your City/State, Rockford, Illinois’ Joie De Vivre (French for “joy of life”) is nostalgic to say the least, having found themselves at the forefront of the Midwestern 90’s emo revival. Although their sound may evoke feelings from the aforementioned era now over a decade foregone, they are a breath of fresh air for the contemporary music scene. So basically, some dudes playing twinkly, emo jams about being sad, girls, beer, and summer.
